Welcome to page 2 of 100

In this new Spring/Summer issue, Roman Art & Photo Walks presents its 100 pages, its new “Where & Why” section, and greetings from a number of friends who also happen to be great international photographers.

Some of my friends take a turn to speak, including a number of excellent artisans of the image that I have been lucky enough to count as my teachers. I was inspired by them in my photographic creativity, and they wanted to salute the first year of Roman Walks and the 10 years of my book “The Creative Digital Shot” (Lo scatto digitale creativo).
“Best wishes to Gabriel, a person who loves light” (Stephen Johnson). In order to improve one’s technique, every photographer needs a guide. Gabriel’s years of experience in the world of digital photography and photo retouching, and the teaching ability he demonstrates with his workshops, have culminated in his book and magazine, which convey his aspiration to share sources of inspiration useful for the exploration of the world of digital photography in a creative way” (Linda Pitkin).
“Gabriel’s photo-journalistic background and, especially, as a workshop teacher, put him in the ideal position not only to explain things clearly, but also to know which information will help his readers and which questions his readers are looking for the answers to” (George Barr).

“Gabriel’s magazine and book will become your best companions on the journey to becoming better photographers” (Inge Johnsson).
“You can tell from his writing and his way of teaching: Gabriel has the capacity to communicate the way to achieve a deeper vision, with or without a camera” (Brenda Tharp).
“Gabriel’s writings constitute an absolute reference material, and have become an essential part of the source library available to any photographer” (Sean Bagshaw).
“Gabriel’s magazine and book are always at hand at my digital workstation, and should be present in the workspace of any digital photographer” (Tony Sweet).
“Take everything Gabriel’s book and magazine can offer your photography, and then go change the world with your vision and passion” (Moose Peterson).
“Gabriel has extensive experience in a wide range of photographic genres: from his extremely creative portraits, to still life and landscapes” (Doug Perrine).
“Gabriel’s magazine and book collect a great deal of indispensable information for photography professionals” (Alain Briot).
“Gabriel’s publications are useful and full of information, and help photographers to improve their photos” (Tim Grey).
“Gabriel is referenced and respected as an author capable of inspiring others” (Russ Burden).
“Gabriel’s magazine and book are comprehensive products which give immediate benefit to photographic talents at all levels” (Steve Brimm).
“I love to curl up with my cat and spend time browsing through Gabriel’s thorough publications. Congratulations to him for spending what appears to be hundreds of hours gathering all the information included in his magazine and book. I wish him great success with his creative Image Factory project “(Jeremy Woodhouse).
